Bringing Chinese Cuisine to Aotearoa
At Sunny Town, the essence of our food comes from the craftsmanship of our chefs, and the quality of our ingredients. Our chefs are all trained in China, while we place great importance on the selection of our ingredients. For example, we source genuine Sichuan peppers from Sichuan, and we get our meat directly from the supplier.

We take our buns seriously. Our dough is made fresh in-store every day. We only use first-class rump meat, which we mix with our secret sauce that is boiled for hours. This allows the fragrance of our braised pork to be locked into the soft and tasty dough.

OurNoodles

A bowl of good noodles ain’t easy. Our soup stock is boiled with old hens, rock sugar, white pepper, longan pulp and fresh ginger. We add a bit of egg white to our noodles for better texture and flavour, a flavour which is locked in through our unique frying method of cooking.
